Data analyst

The Sakila database, created by MySQL for educational and testing purposes, is a sample database widely used in database management systems. It models a fictional DVD rental store, offering tables for films, customers, rentals, and employees. This dataset is valuable for learning and practicing SQL queries and database management.

In this project, we analyzed the crimes data for that we selected the “Chicago Crime dataset report” which has the incidents of crimes for Chicago city that occurred from 2001 – 2023.

We analyzed the trends of crime over the years, locations of the crimes where it happened the most, and hotspot of crimes over the years.
